These donations are pretty unique--not everyday do you get someone emailing you plenty of eyes by Pralinesims. Before my game was erased, I did have quite a lot of eyes mostly from Pralinesims because I had over 100 CC from her.
If you are new to using eyes, they're very simple. They do "replace" your Sim's eyes, but they are considered makeup. You'll find them in the Face Painting section of CAS.
