Just like products in real life, the advertising is always going to make it appear much better than it is. Some CC creators use photoshop on their pics and icons, and almost all of them have mastered adjust-shine to make the hair seem very pretty. Most Sims models have custom skin, eyes, and makeup to make them look better (and sell the hair better). Cazy's hairs are quite different in-game, I agree!
